Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Engineering Technology, or other related areas.
• Minimum two years of experience in the HVAC industry performing project management or estimating roles.
• Five years of HVAC project management or estimating experience qualifies; practical experience prioritized over a 4-year degree.

Responsibilities

• Validate equipment selection, pricing, discounts, and submittals for HVAC projects.
• Evaluate possible cost savings and/or cost problems on various projects.
• Review plans, specs, and documents to validate quantities and configurations.
• Support sales with preliminary or final submittals and coordinate job cost meetings.
• Negotiate prices with vendors to optimize expenses.
• Prepare equipment for order entry and reconcile job costs.
• Assist data collection to keep bid information up to date.
