Qualifications

• HVAC project management or estimating experience is required.
• Four-year degree is not mandatory; practical experience is valued.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls is preferred.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Optimize/validate equipment selection, size, voltage, options based on plans and specs.
• Evaluate potential cost savings and identify cost issues across projects.
• Validate project scope, quantities, configurations, and submittal needs.
• Support sales with preliminary or final submittals and cost discussions.
• Negotiate prices with vendors to optimize expenses for equipment.
• Reconcile job costs and prepare equipment for order entry.
• Provide post-order technical support for installation, startup, and warranty.
