Sargent & Lundy is seeking an HVAC engineer to design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and industrial facilities, including laboratories and control rooms. You will perform calculations, develop detailed designs, and prepare equipment specifications while supporting clients and project teams throughout the design phases.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program is required.
• Minimum 1 year of HVAC system design experience for labs and/or industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in TRACE 700 or Carrier HAP and ability to create P&IDs.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE and current HVAC codes and standards.

Responsabilités

• Design HVAC systems for commercial/industrial facilities and laboratories.
• Perform design calculations and develop detailed system designs.
• Prepare technical specifications for HVAC equipment and engineering studies.
• Support senior engineers, project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely design.
• Assist in reviews of existing facilities for upgrades and presents findings.
