Zusammenfassung

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Engineer to design challenging HVAC systems for laboratory and industrial facilities, including ventilation, control room, and chilled water systems. The role involves design calculations, detailed system design, and preparing equipment specifications.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two remote days. A relocation package is available dependent on location.

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of HVAC, ventilation, heating, and chilled-water system design for labs/industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in TRACE 700 or Carrier HAP.
• Ability to create P&IDs and design flow diagrams.
• Knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (read, speak, and write).

Aufgaben

• Design and develop integrated HVAC systems including commercial/industrial ventilation, control room, and laboratory HVAC.
• Perform design calculations and prepare detailed system designs.
• Prepare technical specifications for HVAC equipment and engineering studies.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely design.
• Assist senior engineers with facility reviews and present findings.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE and current HVAC industry codes and standards.
