Sargent & Lundy seeks an HVAC engineer to design and implement HVAC systems for commercial and laboratory facilities. You will develop detailed system designs, perform calculations, and prepare equipment specs.

You will collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver integrated, compliant solutions. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 1+ year of HVAC design experience, with proficiency in design tools and standards.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program required.
• Minimum 1 year HVAC/ventilation/heating/chilled water design experience for labs or industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in TRACE 700 or Carrier HAP.
• Ability to create design flow diagrams and P&IDs.
• Knowledge of relevant HVAC codes and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Design HVAC systems for commercial/industrial facilities and labs.
• Perform design calculations and develop detailed system designs.
• Prepare technical specifications for HVAC equipment.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, clients and suppliers for timely design.
• Assist in reviews of existing facilities for upgrades or replacements.
