Job summary

Service Specialties, Inc. (SSI) is seeking a full-time Dispatcher in Northern Virginia to bridge between customers and technicians. You will assign technicians, optimize service routes, and ensure timely, accurate updates while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask, and familiarity with NV routing. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatch or scheduling experience (preferred).
• Call center or customer service background (a plus).
• Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Great communication and the ability to multitask.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Familiarity with the Northern Virginia area/routing highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign technicians to service calls by priority, location, and skill set.
• Monitor and update the daily dispatch board for maximum efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with technicians and Customer Service Representatives.
• Adjust schedules as needed for delays, emergencies, or changing priorities.
• Track technician progress and uphold appointment windows.
• Document all activity accurately in our system (ServiceTitan).
• Support a positive team atmosphere and high customer satisfaction.
• Keep management informed of any scheduling issues or improvement opportunities.
