Job summary

Johnstone Supply LLC is seeking a Counter Sales Associate I in Howell, MI to assist customers with HVAC/R product needs in-store and over the phone. You will learn and apply product knowledge, perform POS transactions, and support team sales efforts in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will greet customers, recommend products, process quotes and orders, and handle returns while ensuring excellent service and store profitability.

Qualifications

• Front line customer service experience is required.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R products and basic technical concepts beneficial.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify needs; assist with product selections and questions.
• Process quotes, orders, returns, and other paperwork with accuracy.
• Research and source products, including substitutions and alternate parts.
• Coordinate will-call and deliveries; communicate delays and lead times to customers.
