Johnstone Supply in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Counter Sales Associate I to help customers with HVAC/R product needs, provide information, and process orders. You will work in a team, support store profitability, and deliver friendly, professional service in person and over the phone.

Key duties include greeting customers, assisting with product selection, researching parts, processing quotes and orders, handling returns, and maintaining store appearance and inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ years of related customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with wholesale/retail environments and HVAC/R products is a plus.
• Proficiency with computers and basic math is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product selections and inquiries.
• Process quotes, warranties, returns, and orders; handle cash and paperwork.
• Research, locate, and coordinate product availability across branches as needed.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness; assist with inventory counts.
• Communicate with customers about delays, order status, and promotions.
