Baker Distributing Company is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to join our HVAC distribution team. You will deliver top-notch service to walk-in and phone customers, process sales orders, and upsell related products.

Represent the company at the sales counter, collaborate with internal and external teams, and keep showroom and stock organized while ensuring safety and compliance with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills, HVAC parts knowledge and customer service/sales experience are essential.
• Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in HVAC.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry, aiming for maximum sales.
• Interact with internal and outside salespeople, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain showroom merchandising and restock products.
• Assist in resolving customer relations problems with dealers and end users.
• Process sales orders and upsell related items.
• Assist walk-in and telephone customers with sourcing, shipping parts, inventory control and warranty administration.
