Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support commercial contractor sales of HVAC equipment and parts. You will configure, price, and quote technical and financial solutions while collaborating with the commercial sales team as a technical advisor.

The role offers performance-based bonuses and incentives, with travel as needed to support presentations and trade shows, and opportunities to grow within a national distributor of HVAC products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC engineering or applications experience.
• Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with contractors is highly desired.
• Proficiency with CRM/Database tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to business opportunities and generate quotes for commercial sales.
• Support Account Managers and Sales Managers with new and existing accounts.
• Complete bids, submittals, and take-offs based on plans and specs.
• Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to close the sale.
• Interact extensively with customers, manufacturers, and the sales team.
• Assist with training for our Commercial dealers as needed.
• Resolve customer issues in line with company objectives.
• Identify sales opportunities to drive future growth.
• Travel with the Sales Team to support presentations and trade shows.
