Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support the Commercial Strategic Accounts Sales organization with pre-sale and post-sale activities. The role focuses on HVAC system solutions, customer communication, and multi-functional collaboration across sales, engineering and marketing teams.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years HVAC experience, with travel up to 5% domestically.

• 5+ years HVAC experience.
• Ability to travel up to 5% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Review and assist with plans and specifications to develop HVAC systems solutions.
• Effectively and professionally communicate requirements with customers and internal teams.
• Adapt to customer specific requirements.
• Provide HVAC equipment selections, both new and replacements.
• Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineers.
• Seek new business opportunities by responding to RFI's, RFP's, RFQ's for new and/or existing customers.
• Coordinate across multiple functions, maintain composure in fast-paced environments, and make quick decisions.
• Support Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and the introduction of new products.
• Must have a developed understanding of HVAC systems, equipment and controls.
