Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is hiring an Inside Sales Engineer to support commercial HVAC contractor sales. The role involves configuring, pricing, and quoting technical solutions, collaborating with the sales team, and driving revenue through engineered sales.

You will manage quotes, bids, and submittals across rooftop units, VRF, and water-sourced systems, while enhancing dealer knowledge and ensuring customer satisfaction in a remote-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in commercial HVAC engineering or applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with strong self-management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new business opportunities and create competitive quotes for commercial accounts.
• Prepare quotes for rooftop units, commercial split systems, and VRF systems.
• Assist with account development and introduce new products to engineers and contractors.
• Complete bids, submittals, and take-offs based on plans and specs.
• Follow up on quotes and submittals to finalize deals.
• Provide training and support to dealers to enhance product knowledge.
• Travel with the sales team for client presentations and trade shows as needed.
