Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North America's leading HVACR distributor, seeks a technical/design professional to provide customer-focused sales support and engineering insight. The role involves interpreting plans, preparing quotes, and assisting on-site teams with HVAC/R projects.

The ideal candidate will have a ME degree with CAD/ERP proficiency and at least 5 years in HVAC/R or related fields. On-site role with some travel; strong customer relations are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, drafting, design, logistics, business, or related field; 5 years of experience in a similar position or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise, sales support, and excellent customer service in HVAC/R space.
• Interpret plans, schedules, and schematics to prepare accurate quotes.
• Design, research, and prepare quotes for commercial HVAC/R projects.
• Support internal/external sales teams to achieve sales plans.
• Assist with product recommendations and order fulfillment at branches.
