Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced engineer/designer to join our team. You will provide technical expertise, support sales, and deliver exceptional customer service across the HVAC/R market.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans, designing quotes, and collaborating with vendors and customers to meet project needs. This role requires strong CAD skills and ERP experience, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, drafting, design, logistics, business or related field; 5 years experience in similar position.
• High school degree or equivalent; ERP competence to learn quickly.
• ERP experience with DDI preferred.
• HVAC/R design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service and builds positive customer relationships across markets.
• Interprets engineered plans, schedules, and schematics to provide quotes.
• Researches, designs, and prepares quotes for HVAC projects.
• Supports internal and outside sales teams to achieve strategic sales plans.
• Assists counter and store personnel with product recommendations and order fulfillment.
• Visits job sites to assist customers in planning projects and providing solutions.
