Johnstone Supply, North America's leading HVACR distributor, is seeking a counter sales associate to deliver exceptional customer service and technical assistance in-store. You will assist with product selections, process orders, and maintain showroom standards while building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, researching products, handling quotes, and coordinating with the team to ensure on-time delivery and high store profitability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ years in wholesale/retail is preferred.
• Front line customer service experience is required.
• Ability to run a POS terminal and research HVAC/R items.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office is expected.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product selections in-store.
• Provide HVAC/R information, technical support, and special ordering.
• Research products using catalogs, websites, and internal systems.
• Process quotes, warranties, returns, and pick/pack orders accurately.
• Respond to calls and follow up on orders and delivery dates.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and stock displays; assist with inventory counts.
• Follow pricing structures and SOPs to achieve sales targets.
• Build lasting relationships with customers and communicate needs to team.
