Job summary

Trane Technologies in Rochester/Buffalo NY is hiring a Client Service Representative to build long-term customer relationships and promote HVAC system-related solutions. You will support account managers, prepare estimates and proposals for service work, provide quotes for repairs and energy solutions, and transition projects to the operations team.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience, with HVAC knowledge valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in account management, HVAC, or facilities management.
• 4-year degree not required; practical experience prioritized.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned account managers and their customers with HVAC systems & equipment product selections, application, proposals and sales development.
• Quote, close, and transition Technician Leads and other Service repair work under.
• Generate estimates and proposals for service work.
• Provide quotes for service repairs, change outs, IAQ, and energy solutions including quotes for time and material as well as fixed price service.
• Prepare transition documents and communicate project readiness for assignment to operations team.
