Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring a Customer Specialist in Hartford to act as a trusted advisor, processing quotes and orders, and supporting Account Managers across the district.

You will be onsite at least 4 days a week with occasional travel to multiple stores to foster relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Strong sales, service, and product knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Customer-oriented with a high school diploma or GED and minimum 2 years of inside sales/retail experience.
• HVAC sales or related HVAC experience is beneficial. Mechanical aptitude helpful.
• Proven ability to build and sustain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Process quotes and orders; respond to inquiries via phone and email.
• Support Account Managers and multiple stores across the district.
• Identify sales opportunities and drive store revenue growth.
• Educate yourself on products and programs to support sales initiatives.
• Travel to multiple stores to build localized relationships as directed.
