Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Building Controls Engineer to design, configure, and commission comprehensive building automation systems including fire and security subsystems.

You will develop software, create submittals, and work with field teams to ensure on-time delivery and reliable operation across projects. Strong knowledge of control theory and low-voltage systems is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in construction or HVAC.
• Bachelor's in engineering preferred with 5+ years experience.
• Knowledge of building subsystems and low-voltage controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure complex building control systems per contract.
• Create flow diagrams, sequences, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics.
• Develop and test software programs for system operation.
• Coordinate drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
