Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an engineer to design, configure, and operate full building control systems with a focus on HVAC controls. You will develop software, commission systems, and troubleshoot to ensure reliable operation for customers, consultants, and field teams.

The role emphasizes coordinating drawings, schedules, and submittals, while supporting installation teams and subcontractors. A strong foundation in control theory and building automation is required, along with field safety

Qualifications

Associate degree in a related technical field with two years of relevant work experience, or equivalent
Knowledge of HVAC industry and building automation systems
Experience with control theory and building subsystems from design to commissioning

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems, focusing on HVAC controls
Develop software programs, commission and troubleshoot to ensure proper operation
Prepare submittals and drawings for customers, consultants and installation teams
Coordinate materials, drawings, and schedules for submittals and installation
Assist with commissioning and validation of system functionality and safety practices
