Johnson Controls is hiring for an HVAC Controls Engineer to design and implement building control systems across projects. You will develop software, commission equipment, and liaise with field teams to ensure quality and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Associate or Technical degree, 3+ years of related technical HVAC experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HVAC industry and building automation systems.
• Understanding of control theory, automatic temperature controls, and subsystems from design to commissioning.
• Experience integrating low voltage building subsystems using industry protocols.
• Strong computer skills, especially computer-aided drafting tools.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems focusing on HVAC controls.
• Develop software, commission and troubleshoot systems for proper operation.
• Generate drawings, sequences, bill of materials and schedules for submittals.
