Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. seeks a highly skilled engineer to design and configure building control systems with a strong focus on HVAC controls.

You will develop software, commission systems, and provide detailed submittals to customers, consultants, and installation teams. You will coordinate with field teams on quality, timelines and efficiency, create diagrams and schedules, and travel to job sites as needed while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical field with two years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HVAC industry, control theory, building automation systems.
• Experience with low voltage building wiring and systems.
• Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures and operates complete building control systems with HVAC focus.
• Creates flow diagrams, sequences of operations, bill of materials, network layouts and electrical schematics.
• Develops and tests software programs to operate the system as per project requirements.
• Coordinates drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
• Assists in loading, commissioning and validation of system and network-level controllers.
