Johnson Controls in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Engineer to design, configure, and operate complete building control systems with a focus on HVAC. You will develop software, commission and troubleshoot systems, and provide detailed submittals to customers and field teams.

The role requires knowledge of control theory and building automation, experience with low-voltage subsystems, and collaboration with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Associates/Tech degree with 3 years in HVAC controls.
• Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems.
• Experience with low-voltage subsystems integration.
• Able to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems focusing on HVAC.
• Develop software, commission and troubleshoot building controls.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs, schedules and submittals.
• Coordinate with field teams and subcontractors.
• Provide as-built documentation.
