Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United States is seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Engineer to design, configure, and commission complete building control systems focused on HVAC. You will ensure quality, timeliness, and efficiency of designs while communicating technical details to customers, consultants, and field teams.

Under supervision, you will develop software programs, test and troubleshoot systems, prepare drawings and schedules, order materials, and support commissioning.

Qualifications

• Associate or Technical degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, building automation, and control theory.
• Experience with low-voltage subsystems and CAD tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and commission building control systems with a focus on HVAC.
• Develop software, perform testing and troubleshooting for system operation.
• Prepare submittals, drawings, material schedules, and coordinate with teams.
• Support site commissioning and provide field execution oversight.
