Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled HVAC Controls professional to design, configure, and operate complete building control systems focused on HVAC controls. You will develop software, commission systems, and provide submittals to communicate design intent to clients and field teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams, safety adherence, and coordination with subcontractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical field with two years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC industry and building automation from design to commissioning.
• Ability to travel to job sites outside the area.

Responsibilities

• Designs and configures building control systems as defined by contract documents; creates flow diagrams and schematics.
• Develops and tests software programs to operate the system per project requirements.
• Coordinates the creation of drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
• Assists in loading, commissioning, and validation of system and network controllers; troubleshoots with subcontractors.
