Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an HVAC controls professional to design, configure, and commission building control systems under the guidance of a Systems Engineering Leader. You will develop submittals, software, and test procedures to ensure proper operation of the building control system on active projects.

Responsibilities include creating diagrams and schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and assisting in on-site commissioning and training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC industry and building automation systems from design to commissioning.
• Experience applying control theory to building automation projects.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems focusing on HVAC controls.
• Develop hardware submittals, software programs, and commissioning procedures for proper operation.
• Create drawings, sequences of operations, BOMs, and network layouts for submittals and installation.
• Coordinate with project teams, order materials, and track delivery to meet schedules.
• Assist in site commissioning, training, and data tracking for project progress.
