CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. is seeking an engineer to join our sales team, focusing on growing business with existing customers and developing new opportunities.

The role blends applications engineering with inside sales support, with extensive training and mentorship to build market knowledge of CaptiveAire products and market strategies. The position emphasizes quick, data-driven decisions, strong customer relationships, and a mindset of continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years experience in engineering or related field.
• Mechanical/electrical or construction oriented degree preferred.
• Strong computer, organizational and communication/presentation skills.
• Problem solving with a continuous learning mindset.
• Willingness to travel for training opportunities.
• FE Exam completion expected within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated application engineering and design support for ventilation applications to meet customer needs.
• Work directly with Engineers, Contractors, End Users, and Food Service Dealers.
• Daily tasks include inside sales support and application engineering.
• Responsibilities may include presentations, quotes, submittals, technical product support.
• Educate and promote CaptiveAire products to users in your market via calls, meetings, and demos.
• Research and develop new business opportunities with new and existing users.
• Top notch customer service and willingness to go above and beyond for customers.
• Quick turnaround times a priority and continual process improvement.
