CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer to join our engineering team focused on applying HVAC solutions across a wide range of projects.

You will work closely with sales, R&D, and service teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and develop training resources for internal staff. The role emphasizes diverse applications, hands-on problem solving, and continuous learning within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering (mechanical or electrical) preferred.
• 0-5 years engineering experience.
• HVAC/Ventilation knowledge preferred.
• Able to manipulate data and derive trends with Excel or similar software.
• Strong communication skills to discuss complex equipment with diverse audiences.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage long-term tasks with little guidance.
• THIS IS NOT A REMOTE ROLE.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal sales staff and engineering to design sustainable mechanical ventilation and control strategies.
• Provide comprehensive final review of critical projects for accuracy and alignment with design standards.
• Work with sales engineers to deliver real-time technical guidance and resolve design questions.
• Research unique or emerging applications and develop training resources (webinars, support pages, design tools) for sales staff.
• Review and analyze remote monitoring data.
