Zusammenfassung

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is seeking a Design Engineer - Transmission Line to design, analyze, and deliver high‑voltage transmission projects. You will contribute to routing, sag-tension calculations, structure analysis, and ensure safety and quality across assignments.

You will use AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS and related engineering tools to develop precise drawings and calculations while coordinating with teams to meet codes and standards.

Qualifikationen

ABET-accredited Civil/Structural Engineering degree.
Proficiency with high voltage overhead transmission design tools.
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Aufgaben

Perform, lead, and oversee overhead transmission line design tasks (routing, sag-tension, loads).
Create scaled drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS.
Ensure design compliance with NESC, IEEE, ANSI, IBC and related standards.
Coordinate with project teams to develop solutions and document calculations.
Maintain project documentation and deliver final engineering outputs.
