Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Production Test Operator for the High Voltage lab to perform CT, gas tightness, and dielectric testing of circuit breakers in accordance with PITs and standards. The role requires meticulous documentation, traceability, and adherence to safety rules; you will handle gas in process and operate test equipment, lifting up to 35 lbs, and work in a loud, high-voltage environment.

Two years of related experience in testing, quality control, or manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in test, quality control, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret IEEE and IEC circuit breaker/test standards.
• Ability to document tests clearly and maintain traceability.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT testing including Hi-pot, ratios, and related tests following PIT requirements.
• Conduct gas tightness testing on circuit breakers per PIT and standards.
• Execute high voltage dielectric tests on circuit breakers per PIT and standards.
• Document test data, prepare reports, and ensure traceability; communicate failures via QCRs.
