Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Production Test Operator for our High Voltage lab to perform routine testing of current transformers, gas tightness testing of circuit breakers, and dielectric tests in accordance with PITs and standards.

You will document results, troubleshoot failures, and support safe, efficient lab operations, including moving equipment and upholding OSHA safety rules while collaborating with engineers and production staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience in test, quality control, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret IEEE and IEC circuit breaker and test standards and procedures.
• Accurately document test data and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform current transformer tests (Hi-pot, ratios) following PIT requirements.
• Perform gas tightness testing on circuit breakers per PIT requirements.
• Perform high voltage dielectric testing on circuit breakers per PIT requirements.
• Move breakers in/out of the lab and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Document test data, prepare reports, and ensure traceability of records.
