Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Production Test Operator for our manufacturing team in Kentucky.

The role focuses on routine testing of current transformers (CT), gas tightness checks on circuit breakers, and high voltage dielectric testing in the HV lab to ensure compliance with customer specs and internal QA standards. tester will also document data, generate reports, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe, organized workspace in a high-voltage

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, test standards, inspection procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT testing including Hi-pot, ratios and related tests per PIT documents.
• Conduct gas tightness testing on circuit breakers and report any failures via QCRs.
• Carry out high voltage dielectric testing in the HV lab and document results.
• Move breakers in/out the lab and verify vacuum levels before testing.
• Handle gas processes and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Document test data, prepare reports, and ensure traceability of records.
• Support test procedure improvements to reduce downtime and improve quality.
