Job summary

AL7284 GE Renewables Grid LLC is seeking a Production Test Operator for our High Voltage lab in Charleroi, PA. You will perform routine testing of current transformers, gas tightness checks on circuit breakers, and high-voltage dielectric tests to ensure compliance with customer specs and internal quality standards.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to document test data, generate reports, and maintain traceability of records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience in test, quality control, or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT tests including Hi-pot and ratios as per PIT and standards.
• Conduct gas tightness testing on circuit breakers and document findings in QCRs.
• Execute high voltage dielectric testing in the HV lab following PIT and standards.
• Move breakers and equipment in/out of the lab adhering to safety rules.
• Ensure test data is accurately recorded, traceable, and reports prepared.
