You will steer the technical strategy, platform architecture, qualification milestones, and make build vs buy decisions while aligning engineering, manufacturing, and market needs across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in HV switchgear design, product development, or engineering leadership.
• Deep technical expertise across electrical, mechanical, and controls domains.
• Strong understanding of U.S. HV switchgear design practices, standards, and qualification paths.
• Experience launching new switchgear or adapting global designs for the U.S. market.
• Comfort working with global engineering and manufacturing teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead the definition and development of the company’s first HV switchgear platform for the U.S. utility and developer market.
• Own the technical and product strategy, including platform architecture, performance targets, and qualification milestones.
• Evaluate existing global technologies and determine suitability for the U.S. market.
• Guide potential technology transfer, licensing, or acquisition strategies along with IP strength and scalability.
• Collaborate with applications engineering and sales to reflect real market needs in design.
