Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support turnkey construction of high voltage substations and transmission lines in The Woodlands, TX. You will assist Project Managers and Sales Professionals in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects across the full lifecycle.

The role requires a relevant engineering or construction degree and some experience; you will help prepare schedules, budgets, change orders, and progress reports while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management or related field is required.
• Three years of experience in the design, construction or operations of substations and/or transmission lines is strongly preferred.
• Three years of experience in the supervision/management of budgets and work groups is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work with the Project Manager for the review of the cost, schedule, safety, quality, and completion of construction projects
• Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure materials are expedited and received as needed
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of cash flows, monthly billing, change orders
• Assist in monthly progress reports, re-projections, files, and project documentation
• Assist with development of schedules, estimates, and sales support materials
