Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Substation Technician C to perform construction, maintenance and repair of substation equipment across multiple locations with substantial travel.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, CDL, ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, with overtime and emergency conditions possible. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights and around energized HV systems; travel may be across states to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• Must perform rigorous physical labor and lift 50+ lbs.
• Capable of climbing and working at heights up to 125 ft.
• Must possess or obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Must be willing to travel across states as required by customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of substation equipment and systems.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, test equipment and tools in safe condition.
• Work with energized high voltage systems using careful safety practices.
