Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Substation Technician -B to perform construction, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment and systems across multiple sites. The role requires 4–6 years of relevant experience, climbing and working at heights, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License.
• Capable of climbing and working at heights up to 125 feet.
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor and lift over 50 lbs.
• Experience with heavy equipment such as bucket, derrick, boom trucks, backhoes, excavators, skid steer loaders.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance or repair, testing and troubleshooting of substation equipment/systems.
• Work with high and low voltage components, buswork and transformers.
• Coaching subordinates on the crew and following safety rules.
