Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience designing HV transmission, distribution, or substation projects.
• Experience producing HV layouts, one-line diagrams, protection schemes, and electrical design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for HV transmission and substation projects from concept to client approval.
• Coordinate with civil designers to ensure compatible layouts and installation.
• Serve as primary technical contact for utilities, clients, and owners engineers, handling reviews and queries.
• Manage design deliverables including logs, drawing packages, and submittals.
• Develop and review HV equipment specs and procurement documentation.
• Review supplier drawings and ensure compliance with project specs and standards.
• Perform HV system studies: protection coordination, load flow, fault level, voltage regulation.
• Attend meetings with clients and utilities, providing technical leadership.
• Support project delivery with problem-solving and travel as needed.
