Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Director of Project Development and Strategy to lead preconstruction for our High Voltage Infrastructure business, guiding estimating, pricing, and handoff to execution.

You will standardize processes across the HV portfolio, coordinating with Business Development, Engineering, and Operations to convert opportunities into well-scoped, biddable projects and present risk-adjusted bids to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or engineering in hv transmission/substation or heavy electrical/industrial construction.
• Experience leading competitive and negotiated pricing for HV/substation EPC or self-perform projects.
• Strong knowledge of substation and transmission scope and major equipment cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV preconstruction team through all estimating and proposal phases.
• Own the preconstruction stage-gate process for HV, ensuring consistent scope and estimate quality.
• Partner with Business Development to shape win strategy and pricing philosophy for client proposals.
