Job summary

NFIB is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to impact local communities and the nation. You will blend servant-leadership with aggressive closing, selling NFIB membership and driving growth through direct, in-person engagement with small business owners.

Qualified candidates have a proven sales mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently within a structured sales model. Training is provided and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in field sales or business development.
• Ability to prospect and close with independence.
• Strong interpersonal communication with small business owners.
• Willing to travel and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• Master and deliver NFIB’s 5-minute sales presentation.
• Close: execute an assumptive one-call close and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.
