We are looking for a Human Resources Representative to support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department for one of our clients. This position will be responsible for payroll processing, employee records, benefits administration, recruitment support, and employee assistance. Job Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile employee payroll, including calculations, records, and payroll reporting.
- Assist with the daily operations and administrative functions of the Human Resources Department.
- Respond to employee questions and requests, prepare employment-related documents, and provide customer service support.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes and applications, contacting candidates, and coordinating and conducting interviews.
- Assist with employee benefits administration and provide guidance to new and existing employees regarding available benefits.
- Provide support to the reception area and telephone switchboard as needed.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Human Resources, including experience with payroll processing and reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of payroll processes, calculations, reconciliation, and employee payroll records.
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws and their application.
- Knowledge of ADP payroll software preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver employee training presentations.
Required Availability:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Must be available to work overtime as needed.
- On-site position.
Compensation:
- $15.00 per hour.
