Workplace Solutions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll / Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Modesto, CA. The ideal candidate will handle payroll processing, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities include processing payroll, resolving discrepancies, preparing reports, handling inquiries, and assisting with benefits administration, with collaboration from the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, Finance, or related field; minimum 2 years payroll processing experience.
• Proficient with ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• SHRM-CP or CPP certification a plus; Spanish bi-lingual a plus.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll / Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and human resources practices. They will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• - Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis
• - Ensure accuracy of payroll data and resolve any discrepancies
• - Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information

Qualifications

• - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing and human resources support.
• - Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
• - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• - Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• - Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
• - Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to payroll and employee rights.
• - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• SHRM-CP or CPP certification a plus, Spanish Bi-Lingual a plus.
