Qualifications

• Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Four (4) years of paraprofessional or professional-level work experience in housing relocation, tenant support services, or social work.
• An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B).

Responsibilities

• Develop relocation plans for residents, ensuring compliance with HUD’s Uniform Relocation Act and applicable policies.
• Conduct initial assessments to determine relocation needs, preferences, and eligibility for relocation assistance.
• Provide individual counseling sessions to discuss relocation options and address resident questions.
• Collaborate with project and property management teams to identify housing solutions during relocation.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of relocation, including scheduling, transportation, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain detailed records of relocation activities and documentation.
• Communicate with residents to provide updates on timelines, details, and services.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports on relocation progress to HUD and agencies.
