Job summary

United Ground Express, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor to oversee station personnel and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role requires leadership to coach, schedule, and motivate a team while maintaining excellent customer service.

You will manage daily assignments, ensure training and reporting of incidents, and uphold a safe, efficient operation across a 24/7 schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of aviation leadership experience.
• High School Diploma and previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience supervising Union represented work group preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid US state driver’s license.
• Must be able to stand, lift up to 70 lbs and work outside in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and direction to station personnel to achieve or exceed performance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements.
• Set a positive example for the station team to ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintain a positive work environment and strong employee relations.
• Demonstrate a calm demeanor during high volume or irregular operations.
• Schedule and monitor daily work assignments to ensure proper staffing and service.
• Ensure employees are properly trained and understand their duties.
• Ensure injuries, incidents, and customer service issues are properly reported and processed.
• Operate the station in a safe, caring, dependable and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
