Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an HS&E Advisor to lead Health, Safety, and Environment practices on assigned project sites in North America. You will provide expert advice to operations teams and clients on safety matters while guiding HS&E personnel to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

This role requires strong knowledge of safety management systems, legislation, and industry standards, with ability to operate with minimal supervision across varied work environments.

Qualifications

• One or more years of practical experience as an HS&E professional - telecommunications experience is preferred.
• Formal Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) education is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and ensure HS&E compliance across project levels.
• Ability to pass all pre-access requirements including a clean driver’s abstract and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Hazard assessments, inspections, and audits with focus audits and corrective actions.
• HS&E process guidance for on-site operations and emergency response.
• Mentor HS&E coordinators and advisors on safety processes and improvements.
• Data collection and reporting of safety performance and corrective actions.
• Lead complex incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Support supervisors in injury/illness management including return-to-work.
