Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an HS&E Advisor to lead professional health, safety, and environment practices at assigned sites across North America. The role requires strong knowledge of safety management systems, relevant legislation, and industry standards, with on-site leadership and minimal supervision.

You will mentor HS&E staff, guide operations teams, and drive investigations and reporting while supporting return-to-work programs and preventive safety measures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of practical HS&E experience; telecommunications experience preferred.
• OH&S education is an asset.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to pass pre-access requirements including a clean driver’s abstract and a drug screen.
• Strong ability to communicate persuasively and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead hazard assessments, inspections and audits; report findings and verify corrective actions.
• Provide on-site HS&E guidance to operations management on program implementation.
• Mentor HS&E Coordinators and Advisors to improve safety processes.
• Collect and analyze safety data; recommend improvements and track corrective actions.
• Lead complex incident investigations and train teams on investigation best practices.
• Support occupational injury/illness management and return-to-work processes.
