Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an HS&E Advisor to lead health, safety and environment practices at assigned sites across North America. You will advise operations and clients, guide HS&E personnel, and apply safety management standards with minimal supervision.

You will mentor coordinators, conduct hazard assessments, and analyze safety data to drive improvements while supporting return-to-work processes and preventive measures in various work environments.

Qualifications

• One or more years of practical experience as an HS&E professional; telecommunications experience preferred.
• Formal Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) education is an asset.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate persuasively and influence stakeholders across all levels of project hierarchy.
• Able to pass pre-access requirements including clean driver’s abstract and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Hazard Assessments, Inspections, and Audits: identify unsafe conditions, report findings, and verify corrective actions.
• HS&E Process Guidance: provide on-site guidance on programs, emergency response, metrics, and safety systems.
• Mentorship and Support: coach HS&E Coordinators and Advisors to improve effectiveness.
• Data Collection and Reporting: assess corrective actions and analyze safety data for improvements.
• Incident Management: lead investigations, identify root causes, and train teams on processes.
• Injury/Illness Management: support return-to-work and implement preventive safety measures.
