Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an HS&E Advisor to lead health, safety, and environment practices on projects across North America. You will advise operations and clients, and mentor HS&E staff while applying safety standards with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong knowledge of safety management systems, legislation, and industry standards, plus flexibility for travel and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• One or more years of practical HS&E experience; telecommunications experience preferred.
• Formal Occupational Health and Safety education is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence across project levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead hazard assessments, inspections, and audits and report findings with corrective actions.
• Provide on-site HS&E guidance to operations on programs, emergency response, and safety metrics.
• Mentor HS&E Coordinators and Advisors to improve safety processes.
• Collect and analyze safety data to recommend improvements and verify corrective actions.
• Lead complex incident investigations and train teams on investigation best practices.
• Support supervisors in managing occupational injuries and return-to-work processes.
