Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in Lincoln, NE seeks an HS&E Advisor to lead Health, Safety and Environment at assigned sites, applying policies, guiding operations, and mentoring HS&E staff.

You will conduct hazard assessments, audits and incident investigations, advising on corrective actions while ensuring compliance with regulations and client expectations. This is a hybrid role with travel across Ledcor sites; strong communication and safety program knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of practical experience as an HSE professional; telecommunications experience preferred.
• Formal Occupational Health & Safety education is an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate persuasively on HSE standards.
• Able to pass pre-access requirements including driver abstract, drug screen and breathalyzer.

Responsibilities

• Develop hazard assessments, inspections and audits and report findings with corrective actions taken.
• Provide on-site guidance to implement HSE programs and address emergency response and safety metrics.
• Mentor HSE Coordinators and Advisors to improve safety processes.
• Assess corrective actions from incidents and audits and analyze safety data for improvements.
• Lead complex incident investigations and train teams on investigation processes.
• Support supervisors in managing occupational injuries and illness and return-to-work processes.
