Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking an HS&E Advisor to lead health, safety and environment practices at assigned work sites. You will provide expert guidance to operations teams and clients while supporting HS&E personnel across projects.

You will work in a hybrid capacity with travel to Ledcor sites and project offices, up to 50-75% as needed. A strong knowledge of safety management systems and industry standards is required, with the ability to mentor teams and drive continuous safety

Qualifications

• One or more years of practical HS&E experience; telecommunications experience preferred.
• Formal OH&S education is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of project hierarchy.
• Able to pass pre-access requirements including clean driver's abstract and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Hazard Assessments, Inspections, and Audits: develop hazard assessments and conduct audits, report findings, verify corrective actions.
• HS&E Process Guidance: provide on-site guidance to operations management on HS&E programs and safety systems.
• Mentorship and Support: mentor HS&E Coordinators and Advisors to improve safety processes.
• Data Collection and Reporting: assess corrective actions and analyze safety data to recommend improvements.
• Incident Management: lead complex incident investigations and train teams on investigation processes.
• Occupational Injury/Illness Management: support supervisors in return-to-work and preventive safety measures.
