Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an HS&E Advisor to lead professional Health, Safety, and Environment practices on project sites across North America. You will advise operations, mentor HS&E staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards while supporting incident investigations and preventive measures.

You will balance on-site duties with remote guidance, travel up to 50-75%, and collaborate with multiple teams to improve safety performance and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• One or more years of practical HS&E experience; telecommunications experience preferred.
• Formal OH&S education is an asset.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders across project levels to ensure HS&E standards.

Responsibilities

• Hazard assessments, inspections, and audits: identify unsafe conditions and verify corrective actions.
• HS&E process guidance: provide on-site guidance to operations on programs, emergency response, metrics and safety systems.
• Mentorship and support: guide HS&E Coordinators and Advisors.
• Data collection and reporting: analyze safety data and recommend improvements; assess corrective actions.
• Incident management: lead investigations and train teams on procedures and best practices.
• Injury/illness management: support return-to-work and preventive safety measures.
